
Founder Tami Murphy started extended HR on the belief that small and mid-size businesses should be able to have access to the same high-quality and effective workplace solutions and resources that big companies do but at an affordable rate and when they need them. She is a visionary and creative problem solver, bringing innovation to meeting the growing challenges in today’s workforce.
Tami has been a Human Resource Professional for nearly 30 years, and worked in both public and private sectors, her industries includes; retail, manufacturing, printing, food, hospitality, professional services, logistics and trucking. Her vast hands-on experience is a result of her dedication, hard work and her strong desire to learn more to be able to help others be successful. She has lead projects in areas such as organizational development, implementation of HRIS and LMS systems, benefit restructuring, recruiting and staffing, process management, performance management systems, and handbook and policy creation, evaluation and updating. Tami has her bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and most recently received her Certification in Employment Law from Mitchell Hamlin School of Law. She is also certified in HR and Internal investigations.
